| Community Education
Jewish Senior Life regards education as an essential element of its service to the community. By developing a series of community education programs, Jewish Senior Life commits to the presentation of diverse programming and topics of community interest, delivered by experts in the fields of health, medicine, senior life, aging and wellness.
Past programs have focused on cardiac health, arthritis and aging, nutrition and exercise, cognitive issues of aging, medication review, generational relationships and Tai Chi. This year’s programs will focus on caregivers and caregiving.
Jewish Senior Life regularly partners with the Jewish Community Federation, the Jewish Community Center, Jewish Family Service, the Alzheimer’s Association, Lifespan, Lifetime Care, Visiting Nurse Services and other community organizations to provide quality information and resources.
